Sushi dinner / 腹いっぱい寿司を食べたいときは

Inaka zushi at Chigasaki is the one of my favorite sushi restaurants - tasty sushi at reasonable prices. I drove all the way from my home to the restaurant, 1.5 hours drive, just to eat sushi there.


茅ヶ崎にある田舎鮨はお気に入りの寿司屋の一つ。安い値段でお腹いっぱい寿司が食べられるので、いつも地元の常連客でにぎわっている。この店で食べるためだけに、１時間半かけて車で行ってきたけど、それだけの価値はある。

Blue Man Group / ブルーマン・グループ

This was my second time to watch the Blue Man Group's show this year. The show combines music, art and comedy, and it stimulated my imagination. What I like the most for the show is that it is very interactive with audiences. I felt I was part of the show, and united with the performers and the other audiences in some sense. I recommend the show to anyone who wants to have great fun and refresh from daily lives.

会社のメンバーとその婚約者の方という不思議な組み合わせで、ブルーマン・グループのショーを見に行った（お邪魔虫でごめんなさい）。ブルーマンショーを見るのは今年2回目だけど、それでも充分楽しかった。音楽、アート、コメディ満載のショーにはいつも想像力を刺激される。このショーで一番感心するのは、観客ののせ方がとにかく上手。パフォーマー、他の観客と一体感を感じることができる。日常から離れてリフレッシュしたい人に、大いにお勧め。

Susan Boyle blew away Simon Cowell with her magnificent voice in the auditions for Britains Got Talent. Her performance stunned the world - 30 millions video views on YouTube already.

イギリスの音楽オーディション番組、”Britains Got Talent”に登場したスーザン・ボイル。パッとしない容姿に４７歳という年齢に会場中が失笑する中、彼女が歌い出した途端にその歌声に会場の全員が度肝を抜かれた。辛口で知られる審査員のサイモン・カウエルもこの歌声には脱帽。

スーザン・ボイルが歌ったのはレ・ミゼラブルの”I dreamed a dream"。この歌の歌詞にはトラという言葉が出てくるんだけど、スーザン・ボイルに対してサイモンが「君こそ本物のトラだ」とコメントしていたのがうまい。

小学校のときクラスで羊（3匹）を飼っていた影響で、羊ものは気になって仕方ない。合成じゃないの？などつべこべ言わず、楽しむべし。

Town Market by Recruit （リクルートのタウンマーケット）

I've found a promotion flier of "Town Market" in my house mail box. Town Market is a recently launched free weekly magazine which contains the informations of weekly TV programs and local ads. This service is provided by RECRUIT, the company I used to work 2 years ago. They are good at this type of classified ads business which connect customers and advertisers by creating targeted media. I like the idea, and will subscribe for the magazine. After all, it's free.

リクルートの新しいフリーペーパーである「タウンマーケット」サービス開始のチラシが家の郵便受けに入っていた。そういえば、自分がリクルートにいた当時、このサービスの立ち上げ準備が始まってたっけ。横浜などで試験的に提供を行って、いよいよ東京の城南エリアで正式にサービスが始まるらしい。自分は新聞をとっていないけど、不便なのがTV番組欄がないのと（ネットで見てもいいけどやっぱテレビの脇に番組表欲しい）、セールスチラシが入らないこと。タウンマーケットはその２つの情報を週毎に提供してくれるわけで、新聞離れが進むこの時代にうまくはまっている。
